ABOUT US
ASD was founded in 2005 by the Schneider family and has grown to become a leading provider of power distribution equipment. ASD’s team has over 100 years of combined experience designing and building switchboards, panelboards and related equipment. Our leadership team brings deep experience from organizations such as Eaton, Siemens, Russelectric, as well as several Midwest-based switchgear and apparatus manufacturers. We are committed to providing the highest quality gear to our customers and adhere to the standards set by our UL-891, UL-67, UL-50 certifications.
Our team understands the critical nature of the products we make, and we pride ourselves on our ensuring the highest safety standards. All of our products are made in America at our manufacturing facility in Elk Grove Village, IL, which is conveniently located near Chicago O’Hare International Airport. We strive to provide the highest levels of responsiveness and communication throughout the design/build phase and continue that commitment via our post-installation customer service.
ASD is led by its President, Jeff Schneider, who is the second generation of his family to lead the company and has extensive experience in switchboard manufacturing and engineering.
